Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has shared his admiration for his brother, Dustin Rhodes, who continues to thrive in the wrestling world. Despite being 55 years old, Dustin remains active in AEW and recently captured the ROH World Tag Team Championship alongside The Von Erichs.
Cody’s Perspective on Dustin’s Future
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Cody expressed his belief that Dustin isn’t ready to hang up his boots just yet. “I’m not surprised because I can tell he’s not done,” Cody said, indicating that Dustin’s passion for wrestling is still strong, even though he hasn’t revealed his future plans.
Teaming with The Von Erichs
Cody also spoke fondly of Dustin’s recent collaboration with The Von Erichs, particularly Marshall and Ross, the sons of legendary wrestler Kevin Von Erich. “Dustin doing the spot with the Von Erichs was so cool,” Cody remarked. He went on to express his deep respect for the Von Erich family, noting how studying Kevin Von Erich had a significant impact on him.
